Activity Configurations

Add in activity tracker page

Activity Tracker is the central page where the organization can review employee activity based on captured screenshots, application usage, keyboard keystrokes, mouse clicks, and overall productivity.

The Activity Tracker provides four different views:

  1. Classic View – Displays employee activity in a timeline based on tracked activity.

  2. List View – Displays employee activity in a list format, including recorded keystrokes, mouse clicks, productive time, and other tracking details.

  3. Analytics – Displays activity usage graphs and productivity analytics for employees.

  4. Tracking Gallery – Displays all screenshots captured during employee activity tracking.

Before using Activity Tracker, the organization must configure the required settings under Organization → General Settings.

There are two primary settings required to enable employee activity tracking:

1. Employee Screenshot(s) Setting

Configure screenshot capture settings for employees.

  • Select the Department for which screenshots should be captured.

  • Specify the screenshot capture interval.

  • For macOS users, enable Notify User if employees should receive a notification whenever a screenshot is captured.

2. Employee Activity Tracking Setting

Configure employee activity monitoring.

  • Select the Department and Designation for which activity tracking should be enabled.

  • Configure the tracking interval and the duration for monitoring employee activity.

  • Enable Pause Timer or Pause Task Timer on Inactivity to automatically pause timers when an employee remains inactive for the configured duration.

  • Enable Notify Users on Inactivity to send browser notifications whenever inactivity is detected.

  • Enable Auto Clock-Out When Inactive to automatically create a Clock Out entry for employees who remain inactive beyond the configured duration. This setting applies only to employees belonging to the selected department and designation.

Note: Employee activity will be tracked only if the employee's Department and Designation match one of the configured records in the Employee Activity Tracking settings. If no matching configuration exists, activity tracking will not be performed.

Additionally, if an employee is included in the Ignore Employee List, their activity will not be tracked regardless of the configured settings. This feature is primarily intended for organizations that want to exclude specific employees, such as management or other designated personnel, from activity tracking.
