Labour Welfare Fund

From this page, you can create Labour Welfare Fund slabs for payroll deduction. Labour Welfare Fund (LWF) is a statutory contribution that varies by state. All fields are used to define the LWF contribution structure applicable to employees and employers based on their state.

To open this, navigate to Payroll->Payroll Configurations->Salary Components->Labour Welfare Fund.

Labour Welfare Fund:

Enter a name to identify this LWF slab.

State:

Select the state for which this LWF slab is applicable. LWF contribution amounts and frequency vary by state.

Employee Share:

Enter the contribution amount to be deducted from the employee's salary.

Employer Share:

Enter the contribution amount to be borne by the employer.

Frequency:

Select how often the LWF contribution is deducted. Available options:

• Monthly
• Half Yearly
• Yearly

Click + to add the state configuration to the table below.
